As the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat Gujarat Titans (GT) in the finals of IPL 2023 fans, cricket experts and fans poured the internet with wishes and congratulatory messages. However, a video featuring Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter and former CSK player on social media has left fans puzzled. In the viral video, former CSK opener Murali Vijay along with KKR star Venkatesh Iyer were seen celebrating CSK's victory.

In the video, Vijay and Iyer can be seen in their studio of Tamil broadcast. As soon as Jadeja hit winning runs, Vijay and Iyer along with other broadcasters started jumping for joy. Their happiness left fans on social media in splits some called it 'overacting' while some found it genuine.

Here is the video:

Notably, in the last over CSK needed 14 runs off 6 balls while Gujarat Titans' best bowler Mohit Sharma was bowling. He bowled four back-to-back yorkers and kept CSK batters quiet with just 4 runs in the first four balls. CSK needed 10 runs off the last two balls when Jadeja hit a six and a four to clinch the nail-biting thriller on the very last ball of the game.

Is this Dhoni's last IPL?

Speaking after the game CSK skipper MS Dhoni spoke about his plans and whether will he play or not in the upcoming seasons of the Indian Premier League 2023. Dhoni in the post-match presentation ceremony said, "Looking for an answer? Circumstantially if you see, this is the best time to announce my retirement. But the amount of love and affection I have been shown wherever I have been this year, the easy thing would be for me to say, "Thank you very much", but the tough thing for me is to work hard for another 9 months and come back and play at least 1 more season of IPL. A lot depends on the body, I have 6-7 months to decide."

"It will be more like a gift from my side, it's not easy for me but that's a gift. The way they've shown their love and affection, I think that's something I need to do for them. You do get emotional simply because it's the last part of my career, it started over here and the first game when I walked down everyone was chanting my name. My eyes were full of water, and I just stood there in the dugout for a while. I realized I want to enjoy this. It was the same thing in Chennai, it was my last game over there, but it will be good to come back and play whatever I can. They love me for what I am", he further added. With this victory, Dhoni equalled the record of Mumbai Indians most IPL trophy.
