Rinku Singh, a batter with the Kolkata Knight Riders, astounded the nation with his performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, giving an outstanding performance in nearly every game. His rise to stardom has been monumental. Right after IPL, Rinku took a vacation in the Maldives, posting photos that caught the attention of many noted personalities. Now, the KKR finisher was clicked with Mirzapur superstar Pankaj Tripathi.

However, Rinku Singh did not always find it simple to realise his dream. The KKR batter said in a recent interview with NDTV that in order to make ends meet, he used to wash floors at a coaching facility. He also discussed how his financial predicament forced him to quit playing cricket.

Rinku Singh told NDTV on Saturday, “My brother used to work at a coaching center and he got me a sweeper’s job there. My job was to clean the floors and I had to leave cricket for it. I later convinced my mother that I can improve our family’s financial condition by improving my game.”

Pankaj Tripathi to indulge in maximum of four films each year

On the professional front, Pankaj Tripathi has come up with a new plan. The actor wants to concentrate on quality and personal growth by limiting himself to a maximum of four film assignments each year. The actor wants to achieve a better work-life balance and spend more time with his family and farming, despite having six releases scheduled.

By taking time off between assignments, Tripathi seeks to replenish his own experiences and insights, which he believes are essential to the art of acting. He is appreciative of not being typecast and attributes his adaptability to his expertise in theatre.

Rinku Singh and Pankaj Tripathi met in Lucknow where the actor participated in a talk show for NDTV, discussing the cinema culture of Uttar Pradesh. Rinku posted the photos on social media and captioned the post – ‘Careful all, the Kaleen Bhaiya knows me. Love you Pankaj Tripathi Sir.’
