India batter Suryakumar Yadav has turned up for West Zone in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2023. In the tournament, he played two games and amassed 67 runs only. This includes the highest score of 52 runs. As Yadav plays for Mumbai in First Class cricket, he is representing West Zone in the ongoing final against South Zone. Batting first, the SOZ were bowled out for 213 runs.

However, their bowlers have pulled off a fightback and have taken seven wickets for 129 runs at the time of writing. Meanwhile, Yadav, who is playing for WEZ, started his innings in the ongoing day two with a six. He plays like this in T20 cricket for India and Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Notably, he could have been out the first ball if not for Vijaykumar Vyshak dropping the catch.

Despite this, the right-hander got out only after scoring eight runs off six balls.

Not to forget, he is the vice-captain to Hardik Pandya in the T20I series.
