India’s veteran cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has been running out of the Indian team from all formats for a while now. Despite performing well in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Dhawan wasn’t selected for the ongoing multi-format India tour of the West Indies.

Meanwhile, Dhawan, who is known for his fitness, recently posted a picture on his Instagram handle where he can be seen shirtless and flaunting his six-pack abs while sweating out for the upcoming domestic season. Many fans have reacted to the image and praised him for keeping himself fit.

The upcoming domestic season will be crucial for Dhawan as the ODI World Cup 2023 is on the cards and is just a few months away. However, it’d be difficult for him to make a comeback in the Indian squad at this stage but he still has a lot of cricket left in him as he has shown in the cash-rich league.

Change is the only constant thing in life: Shikhar Dhawan

Meanwhile, Dhawan recently talked about learning new things from youngsters as things get change yearly and one has to adapt to the game style. Dhawan said that it’s great to see how the youngsters are coming up with unique and great strategies. He also talked about Suryakumar Yadav’s impressive shots and have started learning the same.

"It’s really good to see. Change is the only constant thing in life. You have to adapt with time. It is lovely to see how players have come up with new strategies and new ways of thinking. Even like... we’ve been playing for such a long time, we get so inspired by all the young players when they come up with some new shots, and I ask ‘how you played that?”

"I was asking SKY, he hits that six and I asked him ‘What do you do, man?’. So he was like, ‘I just bend and I do this’. I said I am going to try that in the nets as well because the more tools you can carry, it gets easier and it’s a wonderful mindset,” Dhwana was quoted as saying by Circle of Cricket.
