The day of the India vs Pakistan game on October 14, is going to be a nightmare for the fans of both countries. Talking about the tickets, it will only be available from September 3. Even though the tickets are said to be available even after the mentioned date, it is impossible that the tickets will remain intact after the first opening. Given the history of India-Pakistan game sellouts, they are always sold out in 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, talking about the hotel tariffs, it has already gone from 4000 per day to 60000 per day. On the other hand, star-rated hotels are certain to charge a whooping 3,50,000 INR for two nights. This make it equal to a first-class ticket to Europe from India. One of the hotels around the venue has been booked by the India and Pakistan cricket boards for their players

For the India vs Pakistan game, "we had hotel and train reservations for October 14, because we went by initial speculation," says Sanchit Desai, a Mumbai-based sports-management professional. "But once rumours swirled around of a date change, we did another round of bookings for October 13 without cancelling our earlier reservations. Now, our hotel reservation for October 15th holds, but to re-book from October 13, we're being charged nearly four-five times the average price.

"So we have no idea what we're going to do for our hotel. We're in touch with a friend who stays locally, but in the event of us not getting tickets, the plan is to travel to Ahmedabad and enjoy garba nights and experience the vibe of the city on Navaratri."
