Many cricket fans are eagerly waiting for an exciting and fascinating match as England and Australia prepare for the highly anticipated 2023 Ashes series. The five-match series is likely to go down to the wire with all possible outcomes in play, making it a must-watch event on June 16 to July 31.

Both teams will come into the series with excellent form, with Australia having just won the World Test Championship title and England having won 11 of their last 13 games. Meanwhile, Australian skipper Pat Cummins talked about his fellow teammate and the veteran left-handed opener David Warner. He said that the fans will witness a different David Warner this time.

“I don’t think there’ll be any surprises. They’re guys we’ve played a lot and Davey’s I’m sure been thinking about Broad a lot over the last four years and if he got another chance, how he is going to play against him. It didn’t go Davey’s way last time, but I think we’ll see a different Davey this time.” Cummins was quoted as saying by India TV.

I’ve always said the 2024 T20 World Cup will be my final game: David Warner

England comes into the series feeling confident after their recent victories during the "Bazball" era. Their supporters are confident that they can maintain their winning record against the Australians, as they have in 11 of their previous 13 meetings, and reproduce their lopsided performance.

Australia, on the other side, is currently the reigning World Test Champions after easily defeating India at The Oval. They have shown to be the best Test side in the world over the previous two years thanks to their consistent play, which includes an easy 4-0 Ashes victory at home. However, Warner will soon be announcing his retirement as he recently talked about it.

“I’ve always said the <2024 T20> World Cup will be my final game, but I think I probably owe it to myself and my family. If I can score runs here, and continue to play back in Australia, I can definitely say I won’t be playing that West Indies series. If I get through this and I can make the Pakistan series, I will definitely finish up then.” he said.
