Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan became the talk of the town for his tweet on August 14. Apparently, he congratulated West Indies for their T20I series win against India. The Caribbean side won the fifth T20I and won the series by 3-2. However, at the time, they were leading the series by 2-0. The Men In Blue managed to make a comeback in the third and fourth games to level the series.

However, for the first time ever, India lost a T20I series on August 13. This loss has attracted a lot of criticism from the fans. Meanwhile, Pathan took to Twitter and wrote "Congratulations to the West Indies team on a well-deserved series win! Team India must reflect on this defeat, as losing to a lower-ranked team is indeed worrisome," Irfan tweeted.

This tweet riled up the Pakistan fans, making him a butt of jokes from the fans.

In reply, the two-time World Champion took to Twitter and wrote 'Begaani Shadi mein Abdulla deewana… #sunday #padosi.' He tried to imply that Pakistan fans shouldn't celebrate India's loss as the Green Brigade isn't playing any competitive game at this point.

This is how Twitter reacted

Talking about the Indian team, the second-string team will play Ireland in the three-match T20I series. The first-choice players have been rested for the series. Jasprit Bumrah is making his comeback after a long injury layoff. On the other hand, Avesh Khan has also been given another go in the Blue Kit.
