Former England skipper Eoin Morgan has said that India can win the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. He is the first England captain to lift the ODI World Cup. This happened in 2019 when the Three Lions won the final against New Zealand by boundary countback. Apparently, the game was tied and the Super Over was tied. Even though England's World Cup win was controversial, they will be the defending champions this year.
Meanwhile, Morgan, who retired from international cricket last year started by saying the Indian fans' passion and enthusiasm is unparalleled. He added that the passion of the Indian fans is a unique experience.
“The enthusiasm and passion displayed by Indian fans are unparalleled, which makes this special," Morgan said in an interview with WION. This keen passion by the Indian fan base is something that Morgan acknowledges makes cricket matches in India a unique experience.
The London Spirit player in The Hundred further added the Men In Blue need to take tips from the 2011 ODI World Cup.
“The team has formidable skills, and can, indeed, be strong contenders in the upcoming World Cup. They also need to engage with and learn from the experiences of those who participated in the 2011 World Cup,” Morgan advised.
As per the 2019 World Cup winner, some players will look to make their careers while some will see an end.
“For some, the World Cup will be the stage to announce their arrival at the grandest level, while for others, it might mark the end of illustrious careers”.
T10 format should also be considered: Eoin Morgan
Morgan also spoke about the T10 format in the game. He said that the T10 cricket will help the game expand as they format is popular is some areas
In addition, Morgan strongly advocated for the popularization of the T10 format within cricket. "In fact, the T10 format should also be considered, allowing cricket to expand its reach and inclusivity,” he stated.

Australia Is Favorite To Win World T20 kane Xi Kicked Them Out..
So I request don't say anything early because every team have guts to win Wc.
I hope Eoin Morgan doesn’t actually mean this, because it would be really embarrassing for a man who has spent as long in the game as he has to have such a terrible take.

There’s no way you can convince me that we’re favorites. Media just loves to set us up for failure.
If we kick out vadapav dogma and mc dravid we are absolute favourites
— 📂 (@Rakesh_Pvt) August 2, 2023
Who is he kidding? We ain't favourites because this team will go into it trying to compete not to win. It won't be too far from the players & coach to come out & say they don't need to win icc events to be great. Whatever the hell that means. We're undercooked
