The country’s leading Esports company, Nodwin Gaming has finally teased the upcoming BGMI Masters series season 2. In a teaser video, the company said, “India’s BGMI Landscape is Shaken up. The tournaments, scheduled to happen towards the end of July feature a huge prize pool. Defending champions Global Esports will be eyeing to win consecutive titles in what is one of the most prestigious Esports tournaments in India. The tournament would be expected to follow a format similar to its inaugural edition last year. Some of the best BGMI teams in the world would be expected to take part in the contest.
BGMI Masters series season 2 will be available for streaming on OTT
The announcement teaser by Nodwin Gaming has received great excitement from the fans. They are eager to see who will end up winning the second season of the coveted event. The tournament is expected to attract major viewership numbers with it set to be broadcasted on TV and OTT platforms. The competition would be a must-watch for all BGMI fans in India.
Talking of BGMI, the BGIS 2023’s registration details have been made live. Amateur teams will be able to compete with expert teams in this competition. With a prize pool of 2 crore INR, the event is expected to begin on July 20. Teams can now go to https://esports.battlegroundsmobileindia.com/ to check out the rules and requirements for registration. Several documents like government IDs (Aadhar Card, Passport, etc.), in-game names, characters, etc. are mandatory. The registrations will go live in a day or two as per the latest reports.
The format of the competition ensures that amateur teams get ample chances. Moreover, 256 invitational teams will be playing it out in the very first qualifiers giving everyone level ground. Here’s the format to be followed in the BGIS 2023:
- In-game Qualifiers – Top 1024 teams go to the online qualifiers.
- Online Qualifiers – 1024 Teams
- Quarter-Finals – 64 Teams
- Semi-Finals – 24 teams
- Grand Finals – 16 Teams
