Kuldeep has been backed by the team India and Rohit Sharma. The spinner picked up 15 wickets in the tournament alongside Ravindra Jadeja he has performed exceptionally well. 4. Marco Jensen

Marco Jensen has been one of the finest players in the tournament. He has bowled really well in the mega event and was the key member in South Africa's run to the semi-final of the current edition. Jensen picked 18 wickets at an average of 38.22, with an economy of 6.24. Jensen also scored some 157 runs at an average of 31.40. The left-arm pacer has been key in picking with the new ball as well. 

3. Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer has been the best No.4 batter for India in the tournament. The batter has performed in the mega event with an outstanding average of 66.25, scoring 530 runs with 2 hundred and 3 half-centuries. He became the first Indian No.4 batter to score more than 500 runs. The batter since his return from injury has answered all the critics. 

2. Rachin Ravindra 

Rachin Ravindra has been the competition's best young player. So far, he has 578 runs in nine matches. The left-handed batter has a 64.22 batting average and a strike rate of 106.44. The opener has three centuries and two half-centuries to his credit. Rachin became the first New Zealand batter to score 300 runs in a single competition. He was a big miss in the best XI of the tournament. He has been the star for the Kiwis in the mega event despite the absence of Kane Williamson for the majority of the tournament, he filled in the big shoes during his absence.

Travis Head is the reason why Australia won the World Cup. He was named the player of the match in the semi and the final, he played only a minor role in getting them out of the group stage, as he missed some games due in part to injury. But since his return, he has been Australia's key to success and gave excellent support to David Warner at the top of the order.
