Pakistani bowling felt mediocre against Afghanistan
After posting a competitive total of 282/7 in 50 overs, Pakistani bowlers had an upper hand in the game. The bowling unit failed to take wickets with new ball while Afghani batters brilliantly stitched partnerships. Openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran added 130 runs for the first wicket. Gurbaz, in his innings, scored 65 runs off 53 balls with the help of nine fours and a six.
Meanwhile, Zadran, in his innings, scored 87 runs off 113 balls with the help of ten boundaries. After their departure, Afghanistan skipper Hasmatullah Shahidi, along with Rahmat Shah, added an unbeaten 96 runs for the third wicket.
