Former India opener trolls Pakistan

Team India is in red-hot form in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. The Men in Blue have won 8 out of their 8 matches in the World Cup so far and are the only unbeaten side in the tournament so far. Their arch-rivals Pakistan are almost out of the tournament after New Zealand's win against Sri Lanka. The win has made Pakistan's qualification next to impossible for them as they have to defeat the defending champions England by 287 runs or chase down the target in under 5.3 overs.

Former India opener Virender Sehwag has dropped a tweet trolling Pakistan saying goodbye to the tournament. The former skipper believes that the Men in Green qualification is impossible and they cannot achieve it in order to qualify for the semi-final. The Men in Green will be playing for their pride in the last game at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

England would like to win their last game in order to cement their place in the 2025 Champions Trophy that is scheduled to take place in Pakistan. The defending champions did not have a great outing as they lost 6 games and won only two.

Hope you enjoyed the biryani and the hospitality. Have a safe flight back home: Virender Sehwag

Sehwag shared a post saying, "Pakistan Zindabhaag! Bas yahin tak tha jo tha. Hope you enjoyed the biryani and the hospitality. Have a safe flight back home. Bye Bye Pakistan!." The batter further added saying, "Pakistan ki khaas baat hai ki jis team ko Pakistan support karti hai, woh team Pakistan ki tarah khelne lagti hai. (The special thing about Pakistan is that the team which Pakistan supports starts playing like Pakistan) Sorry Sri Lanka."

They must bat first and earn 300 points before bowling England out for 13 points. If they score more than 300 runs in Kolkata, they must maintain a margin of 287 runs. In case, Babar's side bowls first, their prospects become considerably more dismal. Even if they restrict England to 100 runs, they must pursue the target with 283 balls to spare (2.5 overs).
