Maxwell fires in Wankhede
Glenn Maxwell who missed the last game against England, came back to the side and played an important innings for Australia as the five-time world champions were struggling when he came into the crease when they were 49/4. Australia are close to winning the game for them.
In the first innings, Zadran batted brilliantly as he built the partnership and etched his name in the record books. The 21-year-old batter was unbeaten with 129 runs off 143 deliveries, hitting eight fours and three sixes. In the final ten overs, he and Rashid Khan scored 96 runs. In the final over of the innings, he scored 35 runs off 18 balls and hit Starc for 16 runs.
In response, Australia kept on losing wickets at regular intervals but Maxwell has been there in the crease fighting along with skipper Pat Cummins who has given him the best support.
