India wearing black armbands
Rohit Sharma's side is wearing black armbands in honour of the late legendary spinner Bishan Singh Bedi. The spinner passed away recently last week Monday, October 23, at the age of 77. Bedi was a member of the 1983 squad that won the World Cup for India. He has been one of the finest spinner in India. He has played in 67 Tests for India during the period of 1967 and 1979 and picked up 266 wickets. In 10 ODIs he picked seven wickets. Rohit Sharma has been there in the crease along with KL Rahul and has been nearing his fifty. The skipper needs to build the innings along with Rahul so that India can score 250-275 runs on a tricky wicket of Lucknow.
