'Jeetega bhai jeetega India jeetega' - Fans react to theme of semifinalists of ODI World Cup 2023 in Gateway of India

A light show was arranged in the Gateway of India in Mumbai. The theme of the show was to promote the ODI World Cup 2023 with a light show. In the evening time, there was a light show, which was beautiful to watch. In the theme, the images of captains of the teams that are currently in the top 4 of the points table were revealed. 

It caught the attention of the fans online. The theme had the images of Pat Cummins, Temba Bavuma, Rohit Sharma, and Kane Williamson. These are the captains of the team that is currently in the top 4 of the points table. India has topped the table. South Africa has finished the group stage with 7 wins under their belt. Australia and New Zealand are currently in the third and fourth spots in the points table.

Australia has 6 wins in their 8 games in the tournament so far. In their last match, Australia is taking on Bangladesh, which is a must-win game for the Asian side to qualify for the Champions Trophy 2025. New Zealand has finished the group stage with a win over Sri Lanka. The game helped them to boost their net run rate in a big way to put more pressure on Pakistan. 

Can Pakistan spring a surprise?

While the above-mentioned teams are in contention for a spot in the semifinal, there is another team in contention. India, Australia, and South Africa have all qualified for the knockouts. New Zealand and Pakistan are fighting for the last spot. Pakistan is in a must-win situation to enter the semifinal stage of the tournament. A huge win is a necessity for Pakistan. 

Given the huge difference in the net run rates of Pakistan (0.04) and New Zealand (0.74), the 1992 champions are expected to beat England by a huge margin. If they bat first, Pakistan must post a huge total on the board and beat England by 287 or more runs. If Pakistan decides to chase down the target, they must reduce England to a low total and chase them down within 2.4 overs.
