The mercury will keep dropping as the sun keeps setting with cooler temperatures expected. Pune has hosted seven One-Day Internationals so far and is known to be a batting beauty.

Temperatures in the evening will be much cooler and pleasant with winter just weeks away. The bowlers could also face difficulty to grip the ball as there will be a good amount of dew on the field.

In the 7 games played in Pune so far, teams batting first have gone on to win the game on 4 occasions. Teams chasing have won the games thrice as the pitch tends to play a bit better under the lights.

India had chased down 350 runs against England during an ODI game played at this venue in 2017. Virat Kohli and Kedar Jadhav had struck centuries as the Indian team came from behind to claim a famous win.

There could be a few changes expected from both teams ahead of the crucial ODI World Cup 2023 clash. India could replace Shardul Thakur with either Mohammad Shami or Ravichandran Ashwin. Bangladesh could also make a few changes as they play with the fitness of Shakib Al Hasan in focus.
