Quinton De Kock has been in a sensational form in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. The South African batter has scored his third hundred of the tournament in the match against South Africa. In the process, De Kock became the first batter to score three or more hundreds in a single edition of the ODI World Cup. It was so good to watch him bat. 

The Southpaw registered the highest score in the history of the ODI World Cup by a wicketkeeper batter. The knock of De Kock totally rattled the Bangladeshi attack. It helped South Africa to register a mammoth total of 382 runs on the board. The way De Kock scored boundaries against both the pacers and the spinners showed his incredible range. 

De Kock hit shots in different parts of the ground. The 30-year-old respected the Bangaldfesh bowlers in the first few overs of the match. In fact, South Africa was in trouble at one point in their innings. In the first 10 overs, South Africa was 44/2 with the ball not coming easy on to the bat. At that point, De Kock did not try to do anything silly that could cost South Africa the game.

After the early blip, South Africa was right in the game. De Kock played well after getting set. He attacked the spinners well in the middle overs. It was presumed that the Southpaw could struggle a bit against spinners. But with not much happening from the surface, De Kock easily scored runs. Bangladeshi bowlers had no answer to the aggression of De Kock.

After scoring hundred, De Kock went ultra aggressive. In the process, De Kock not just registered the highest score of the tournament by a wicketkeeper batter, but also ended up registering the highest individual score by a South African batter. In 140 balls, De Kock scored 174 runs, which included 15 fours and 7 sixes. Fans were happy with the performance of De Kock in the match.
