India will play Australia on Sunday, October 8, in Chennai in their first ODI World Cup 2023 clash. The Men in Blue have had a brilliant few months as they are currently the No.1 side in all formats of the game. India is coming from the winning momentum that they gained in the Asia Cup and the three-match ODI series against Australia. The Rohit Sharma-led side is the favourite to win the mega event in India. In the India vs. Australia match there is a predicted 20% chance of rain. The skies are expected to be partially cloudy, with humidity levels at 78%.

Additionally, there will be a gentle breeze with the wind blowing at 19 kilometres per hour. There have been thunderstorms in the city over the past two days, and several weather forecast portals are suggesting little to no rainfall for the afternoon.
