ODI World Cup 2023: Weather Report of New Zealand vs Afghanistan clash

New Zealand is set to face Afghanistan at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The Afghans have made a sensational comeback in the tournament as they defeated defending champions England by 69 runs in their last game at the Arun Jaitely Stadium, New Delhi. Thus, it has given them confidence ahead of meeting the Kiwis. 

The Black Caps will miss the service of their regular skipper Kane Williamson who has been again forced out of the tournament due to an injury. He fractured a left thumb while playing against Bangladesh in the mega event. But they have performed superbly in the ongoing mega tournament.

The toss will become an important factor for both sides. The team winning the toss would like to have bat first as chasing on this ground becomes difficult. The experience of Williamson in this pitch would have been crucial as he is a good player of spin. The Afghans will surely try to make another upset of the ongoing World Cup.
