India vs Australia will face the final in the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Both the teams have performed superbly in the tournament. The Men in Blue has won all their 10 matches and is the only unbeaten side in the tournament. The Aussies have made a sensational comeback after their poor start in the tournament as they have won 8 consecutive matches in the competition.

Australia have been the side that never lets them write off when it comes to big tournaments. They are the five-time champions of the mega event. Both the teams will meet each other in the final after 20 years. The last time they met Australia had the upper hand against India at Johannesburg, South Africa. They won by 125 runs against Sourav Ganguly's side.

The Men in Blue is the most formidable squad in this event as they have covered all their bases and showed some fantastic game of cricket. The weather will be a big question in the final game as we have seen some rain on a few grounds during the competition.

If rain plays a spoilsport what are the scenarios to decide the winner?

The weather has been good and sunny in Ahmedabad the fans can expect the full 50-over game for each side. But in case the weather changes and if it rains and 20 overs play for each side is also not possible then the match will be shifted to the 'Reserve Day'. The Cricket Governing Body keeps a day in hand for every knockout game in case the games get washed out on the first day.

In case both the days are washed out then the team finishing above will be declared as the champions and in this scenario India will be announced as the champions as they were the table toppers with 18 points and winning 9 games in the league stages. Rohit Sharma's side has the best chance to win the trophy since 2011.
