Star Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo says that he will never come back to any European club. He also comes up with a verdict over MLS vs Saudi Pro League debate. Ronaldo says that Saudi Pro League is better than MLS. His reaction came after Lionel Messi decided to move to MLS.

"The Saudi Pro League is better than MLS, I opened the way to the Saudi Pro League, and now all the players are coming here", says Ronaldo after a friendly game between Al Nassr and Celta Viego. Notably, the La Liga side Viego beat Nassr by 5-0 in Ronaldo's native Portugal. "In one year, more and more top players will come to Saudi. In a year the Saudi league will overtake the Turkish league and Dutch league," Ronaldo further added.

Ronaldo was the first high-profile European player to join the Saudi League. This year, however, a number of other great players, like Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Roberto Firmino, and others, have signed for other clubs in the Middle Eastern division. A number of other high-profile players are anticipated to follow suit and sign new contracts with Gulf clubs before the transfer market closes.

"Premier League is only good European league", says Cristiano Ronaldo

Further speaking about his potential return to the European Leagues Ronaldo says that there is no quality league in Europe. However, he backs Premier League as the best among them. "I'm 100 per cent sure I won't return to any European club," Ronaldo said. "I'm 38 years old. And European football has lost a lot of quality. The only valid one and still doing good is the Premier League. They're way ahead of all the other leagues."

Notably, Ronaldo's Al-Nassr will face Benfica in their next friendly game. Speaking about his role in both games he said, The plan was for me to play 45 minutes today. Against Benfica, I might play 60 or 70 minutes. It is better to fine-tune the machine little by little to reach the best form."
