Pakistan are currently hosting England in a historic three-match Test series. England toured Pakistan for the first time in 17 years and took an early lead after beating the hosts by 74 runs in the first game. Both the teams are now gearing up for the second Test which is scheduled to be played on Friday, December 9 at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
However, ahead of the second Test match, a report suggested that gunshots were heard 1 kilometer from the hotel where Team England are currently staying. The incident took place in the morning and no casualty has been reported so far. However, nothing has changed regarding the dates of the second Test.
According to a tweet by Lawrence Booth, the arrest of four people has come to the fore.
“Gunshots were heard 1 km away from the England team hotel in Multan this morning. It seems that there are two rival gangs. The incident resulted in four arrests, and no one was injured. The team's security plan will remain unaffected ahead of the second Test against Pakistan tomorrow." the tweet read.
England beat Pakistan in the nail-biting first Test match
Talking about the first Test match, England scored a mammoth 657 in the first innings in just 101 overs at an incredible run rate of 6.50. After Pakistan also enjoyed themselves on the batter-friendly Rawalpindi pitch scoring 579, England continued to attack in their second innings and went on to post 264 for seven before declaring their innings.
As the game reached tea on day four, Stokes and head coach McCullum made the brave call to declare the innings, leave Babar Azam’s team a target of 342 for victory. At the declaration, many reckoned Pakistan as the favorites due to the amount of time remaining in the game as well as the conditions. The move, however, worked towards England’s advantage as they secured a 74-run win in the series opener.

Surprising how Pakistani players never get gun shots? Shows terrorism in their country only focused on whites and Hindus.
