At this point, Pakistan and India are locking horns at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. In the video, the board media manager Umar Farooq Kalson and Adnan Ali (General Manager of International Cricket) for the board were seen. For the unversed, Pakistani citizens and cricket board officials are not allowed to visit Casinos at any cost. After all, Pakistan is an Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the citizens follow the rules laid down by Islam religion. Its believers are not allowed to visit or engage in casino-related activities.

Meanwhile, as Asian teams such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh are playing in the Asia Cup 2023, all teams are in the island nation, and some top officials are in the nation. While some commentators recently visited Kumar Sangakkara-owned 'Ministry of Crab' restaurant. On the other hand, the PCB officials visiting a Casino haven't gone down well with the fans and former cricketers. Also, the officials have claimed that they didn't got involved in the illegal activities but had some food.

Former Pakistan cricketer, Mohsin Khan expressed his disgust for this activity. "Not many are buying the explanation that they went to a casino just for dinner. It's a bit hard to swallow," remarked cricket writer Omair Alavi.

PCB fired Moin Khan for the same offense during the 2015 ODI World Cup

Eight years back, the then-Pakistan selector and manager Moin Khan was sacked by the board. Apparently, ahead of their game against the West Indies, Khan and his wife went to a casino in Christchurch. As per the rules, he was sacked for the offense. The same might happen against Kalson and Ali.
