He said that Saudi Arabia are fooling players through the money they offer. There were also some rumors that Ronaldo is not having a good time with Al Nassr and is hoping to move towards Europe once again.
“I understand that sometimes the players are fooled by the big contract they sign in Saudi Arabia, but then life there is more closed and football is not always as easy as expected. So, you may be going through a phase of some disappointment and even reflection. Argentina legend, Lionel Messi had gone to Saudi Arabia recently and there are speculations that he’d be also joining any club there. Rivaldo believes that Messi will also witness the same in the future. However, he also mentioned that fans want to see Ronaldo play for Real Madrid once again and hang his boots on a good note. He also believes that the 38-year-old can still help the club to win more titles.
“This happens to all players, and Messi himself will soon be able to witness it. It would be good for him and for football to see Cristiano Ronaldo return to Real Madrid to finish his career.
