Virat Kohli recently spent some valuable time travelling by bus. The 34-year-old is shown browsing a newspaper within the metro in an Instagram photo. Kohli completed his appearance with grey trousers, a black T-shirt and a watch that matched.  The underground subway is referred to as the tube by non-locals. He captioned the picture, “When in the Tube”

The former RCB skipper stated in an interview conducted during Indian Premier League 2023 with Star Sports that he enjoys hanging out in the UK given that he is too well-known in India to enjoy public life there. He said, “I have not walked once in India and that is something I miss so badly. If someone gives me 12 hours, I would honestly just walk around. That’s a different joy of walking on the road, go whichever shop you want, eat or buy something. I don’t even remember the last time I walked on the road here.”

In the recently ended World Test Championship (WTC) final versus Australia, Virat Kohli underwhelmed with the bat for Team India. In the summit match, Australia defeated Rohit Sharma and company by a score of 209 runs. The right-handed hitter came back with knocks of 14 and 49. It was Kohli's second defeat in the WTC final. The former Indian skipper led India in an eight-wicket defeat against New Zealand in the first WTC 2021 final while scoring 44 and 13 runs.

The Indian Cricket Board announced Virat Kohli's inclusion in the Test and ODI squads for India's trip to the West Indies yesterday evening. Considering how much he enjoys playing the West Indies, Kohli will want to keep up his outstanding batting performance. In 14 Tests against WI, the Royal Challengers Bangalore batter has scored 822 runs overall, including two hundreds. He has played the same opponents in 42 ODIs and amassed 2,261 runs, including nine centuries. India would need him to continue this excellent form at least in the ODIs with a home World Cup coming sooner rather than later
