Fans of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) may now stop waiting as the Indian government has lifted the ban from the game for three months as a trial, and it will soon be available in all online app stores. On Friday, May 19, the official Twitter account posted a sneak peek and gave the fans a reason to be happy again.
The game's creator, Krafton, thanked the Indian government for lifting the ban and assured the fans who had been impatiently awaiting it for the past 10 months that the server would soon be up for use. Here's the post they tweeted on Twitter.

“We are highly grateful to the Indian authorities for allowing us to resume operations of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). We would like to extend our gratitude to our Indian gaming community for their support and patience over the past few months. We are excited to announce that Battlegrounds Mobile India will be available for download soon and we cannot wait to welcome you back to our platform.”
“To achieve our mission, we aim to augment technology developments in India by collaborating with local developers and promoting the use of cutting-edge technologies. We also recognise the importance of providing skilling and employment opportunities for Indian talent, which can help them nurture their skillset and thrive in the industry.”
We are committed to delivering exceptional products: Krafton
The best news, though, is for the BGMI esports athletes who were let go by their various organisations; it appears that they will now have their employment back and will shortly begin training for the next competitions. Additionally, Krafton announced that they will work with regional gaming organisations in India to expand the esports scene there.
“We believe in the power of gaming to bring people together and create unforgettable experiences. We are committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our users in India and beyond, and we look forward to continuing our journey with you.”
