A brilliant all-round performance by India

Indian bowlers performed well in the match between the two teams. Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first, which was proved right by the Indian bowlers. Half of the Kiwi team had returned to the pavilion on a score of just 15 and the entire team was all out for 108 runs in 34.3 overs. Mohammed Shami took the maximum number of wickets for India. He made three batsmen his victims for 18 runs in his six-over spell.

The target of 108 was not going to trouble India, Rohit Sharma and Gill opened the innings, and the skipper scored 51 off 50 balls with seven fours and two sixes. Gill continued where he left off from the double hundred at Hyderabad and made 40 off 53 balls with six fours. Virat Kohli hit two boundaries and made 11 off 9 balls but was dismissed by Santner yet again. Ishan Kishan came in and made 8 off 8 balls with two fours. Gill hit the winning boundary for India and the Men in Blue won by 8 wickets.
