The next edition of the Asia Cup 2023 is less than a month away. The tournament will start on August 30. At this stage, the broadcasters of the tournament across the globe have started promoting the tournament. The broadcaster in India released a fresh promo that featured mostly Virat Kohli and his figurines. The video is already going viral on the internet.

Currently, the former India skipper is rested for the T20I series against the West Indies. Even in the ODIs, he and current skipper Rohit Sharma were rested for two games. Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Kohli might bat number four during the tournament. The last he batted at number four was way back in 2020 after 2011. The right-hander has a decent record at this position with 1767 runs in 39 games averaging 55.21.

On the other hand, Shubman Gill, who has been opening the innings, might go down to number three. Apparently, India's injury concerns and uncertainty around the likes of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer has led the team to think this way.
