Pakistan has done it once more. People love to make fun of the Pakistan cricket team and its players, and on Tuesday, June 13, during their third T20 encounter against Nepal in Mong Kok as part of the ACC Women's Emerging Teams Cup, they had yet another cause thanks to some stupid running between two of their batters. The Pakistani captain Fatima Sana and Najiha Alvi made a terrible mistake that left both batters stranded on the same end, allowing Twitter fans the opportunity to troll them once again.

Talking about the match, Nepal won the toss and elected to bowl and their decision proved right as they wrapped up Pakistan on the score of just 87 runs. Nepal’s right-arm medium bowler Indu Barma was the highest wicket-taker from Nepal by picking up 3 wickets. For Pakistan, right-handed opener Shawaal Zulfiqar was the highest run-scorer with 28 runs.

Chasing the target, Nepal face all the 20 overs but couldn’t chase the target as Pakistan bowlers didn’t let the batters open their hands and in the end, Nepal lost the match by 9 runs. Syeda Aroob Shah and Tuba Hassan both picked up 2 wickets each. However, despite being an emerging nation, Nepal gave a tough fight to Pakistan.

On a debut getting five wickets is just an amazing feeling: Shreyanka Patil

Meanwhile, India also clashed against another emerging nation on Tuesday. Hong Kong and the Indian team played the 4th match of the Women’s Emerging Teams Cup at the same venue where the Indian team convincingly defeated Hong Kong by 9 wickets. The 20-year-old allrounder Shreyanka won the Player of the Match by picking 5 wickets and after the match, she expressed her happiness about playing the Indian national team.

“I am very grateful to be wearing this jersey, Since I was a kid, I was dreaming to wear this jersey and I won’t stop dreaming, I’ll continue dreaming, but the thing is that it’s just in the beginning, and thoroughly enjoyed this fifer because it means a lot to me. On a debut getting five wickets is just an amazing feeling.” Patil was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda.
