The second ODI between West Indies and India on July 29 might get washed out due to rain. Apparently, it has been raining in Barbados for a while. Humidity is expected to be around 80 to 85 percent with the temperature expected to be around 30 degrees Celcius. Talking about the game, India needs to play this game much more than the West Indies.
After all, the home team, West Indies is ruled out of the ODI World Cup 2023 which is why these games have no insignificance. On the other hand, the Men In Blue need to play each and every ODI game before the World Cup later this year. At the time of writing, the home team won the toss and elected to bowl first. The likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been rested for the team.
Sanju Samson and Axar Patel have been included in the team. For the Maroon Brigade, Rovman Powell and Dominic Drakes are left out. They have been replaced by Alzarri Joseph and Keacy Carty.
