The Pakistan cricket team has arrived in Hyderabad after the timely clearance of their visas, receiving a warm welcome from enthusiastic fans. Expressing their delight on social media, the players are relishing the grand reception. Diet is a crucial aspect of athletes' routines, and the Pakistani players are savoring a variety of exquisite cuisines in Hyderabad.

In preparation for their warm-up game against New Zealand, the team has hit the training ground, combining on-field practice with a delectable menu. Due to the unavailability of beef for all participating teams in India, Pakistan will rely on chicken, mutton, and fish for their daily protein intake. The team's diet chart includes dishes like grilled lamb chops, mutton curry, butter chicken, grilled fish, steamed basmati rice, spaghetti in Bolognese sauce, and vegetarian pulao for carbohydrates.

With a nearly two-week stay in India, the players might indulge in cheat meals, including the famous Hyderabadi biryani. Despite what unfolds on the field, the initial hours suggest that the trip will be a memorable experience for Babar Azam and his team. The schedule includes a couple of warm-up matches before the ODI World Cup kicks off, with the team facing New Zealand in Hyderabad and Australia in their second practice game on Tuesday. The anticipation is high for an exciting and eventful tour for the Pakistani cricket team in India.

Pakistan team to play two warm-up matches

The Pakistan team will be playing two warmup matches. The 1992 World Cup winners will be first up against New Zealand on September 29 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Furthermore, this match will also be played behind closed doors. This decision was taken in order to keep in mind the festive season which surrounds that date.

In addition to it, their second warm-up match will also be played in Hyderabad against the Australian team on October 3. The World number two ranked ODI side will be kickstarting their World Cup 2023 campaign against the Netherlands on October 6 in Hyderabad only.
