Australian spinners took charge

Shubman Gill, who got the chance ahead of KL Rahul, looked in pretty good touch, after scoring 21 runs off 18 balls, but he also got dismissed by Kuhnemann in the eighth over as he tries to play forward and the ball found the edge of the bat and was caught by the skipper Steve Smith at the slip. Cheteshwar Pujara was also got stunned by Nathan Lyon as he became a victim of a huge turn when he goes inside the crease and tried to play it through the offside but the ball stayed low and crashed into the middle stump. Ravindra Jadeja and Shreyas Iyer were also dismissed by Lyon and Kuhnemann respectively.

After that Virat Kohli and KS Bharat hold their nerves and tried to build the innings by adding 25 runs for the sixth wicket. But Kohli also got LBW by Todd Murphy after scoring 22 off 52. A Couple of overs later, Bharat also got out in the same way by Lyon. India were reduced to 82 for 7.
