Chennai Super Kings (CSK) became the five-time champions after defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 by 5 wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 30. CSK produced an all-round performance throughout the tournament which helped them to get their hands on another IPL title.

Meanwhile, CSK star opener Ruturaj Gaikwad recently got married to Utkarsha Pawar, a domestic women cricketer who plays for Maharashtra. On June 3, the 26-year-old Gaikwad married Utkarsha after which he posted a few pictures from the wedding on his Instagram account which are getting viral on social media. Many fans have and cricketers congratulated the couple as both looked really happy.

 Numerous players were among those mentioned, including Shikhar Dhawan, Maheesh Theekshana, Devdutt Padikkal, Vijay Shankar, Rajat Patidar, Ravi Bishnoi, Rahul Chahar, Tilak Verma, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Rashid Khan, Khalil Ahmed, Rahul Tewatia, and Deepak Chahar.

Ruturaj Gaikwad missed Test Championship final because of his wedding

Utkarsha frequently attended IPL games to support Gaikwad and watch the action. Utkarsha attended the IPL 2023 final game as well. Gaikwad himself posted a photo of the trophy with Utkarsha on social media after the game. Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra, was the site of Gaikwad and Utkarsha's wedding. They both posted pictures from their wedding on social media. 

Beginning on June 7, the Indian squad will compete against Australia in the Test Championship final 2023 at the Oval. In the Indian team's standby lineup for the match, Ruturaj Gaikwad was chosen, but he withdrew his name owing to marriage. Later, Yashasvi Jaiswal of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) was chosen as Gaikwad's replacement as the team's starting quarterback.

Many fans have also trolled Gaikwad for missing the Test Championship final match because of the wedding. They even advised him to postpone his wedding date, however, it was very unlikely to see Gaikwad in the playing XI as skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will be seen opening the innings for India.
