Star North Zone wicketkeeper-batter Prabhsimran Singh displayed sensational athleticism behind the stumps in the ongoing rain-affected match against South Zone. The two teams locked horns in the opening clash of the Deodhar Trophy 2023 in Puducherry. South Zone has posted a total of 303 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the first innings as they batted first after winning the toss.
Coming back to Prabhsimran’s outstanding glove work in the first innings, he stunned everyone when South Zone’s middle-order batter Ricky Bhui was there in the middle. Mayank Yadav made the batter to play the shot but it took an edge and went behind the wickets. Subsequently, the wicketkeeper went flying acrobatically to complete the catch.
The cricket fans were elated and in awe of this amazing catch taken by Prabhsimran. They took to Twitter and showered praise on the young wicketkeeper for his marvellous display of wicketkeeping.
