Popular gamer and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) athlete Harmandeep ‘Mavi’ Singh recently signed a contract with renowned gaming organisation ‘Global Esports’ (GE). After this, Mavi came live on his YouTube channel and talked with the fans about his new signings.

Mavi spoke about issues pertaining to his work as a content producer for S8UL and an esports athlete for GE. He also responded to supporters who believed he quit S8UL to join Global Esports. The co-owners of S8UL,  Animesh ‘Thug’ Agarwal and Goldy, were credited for helping him join GE, but only as a BGMI esports competitor, according to him. He will continue to work as a content creator for S8UL and will be a part of GE only as an esports player.

"If you guys aren't aware, I have joined Global Esports for esports. Moreover, the idea was suggested to me by Goldy and Thug. They told me to try playing esports for GE. After that, I began to make discussions with them and the joining happened. If we are together for such a long time, we will discuss every decision before we take them. Won't we? Let me clear it again for those asking me if I have left S8UL, me joining GE was based on their decision," Mavi was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda.

We decided to separate and choose our own paths: Mavi on leaving Team XSpark

Mavi performed well as an IGL for Team X Spark. After the championship was suspended the previous year, he did, however, part ways with the group. He discussed leaving Texas and becoming a free agent before joining GE in today's stream.

"It was not that I left TX. A tournament was going on back then and we going by the performance we decided that the team cannot continue with the same players. Then the game got banned and we failed to proceed or decide what we were going to do. So, we decided to separate and choose our own paths," Mavi said.
