IPL 2024: Top five players who could fetch over 10 Crores in IPL Auction

In two weeks, cricket fans will witness IPL 2024 Auction take place in Dubai. Some of the biggest names in cricket will go under the hammer in a bid to find a new team ahead of the new season. Mallika Sagar is going to be the auctioneer for the 2024 IPL auction.  More than 400 players from around the globe are going to be a part of this mega tournament's auction. 

Few players will be marking their presence in the league for the first, while others are set to come back to the league. Most of the teams know the base price of the biggest names who have entered the auction.

Top five players who could fetch over INR 10 Crores in IPL 2024 Auction

5. Travis Head

Australia’s best batter over the last few months has been Travis Head. The left-handed batter played a critical role for Australia in their last two title triumphs. Ahead of the IPL 2024 Auctions, Travis Head has set his base price at INR 2 Crores. It will not surprise anybody if he breaches the INR 10 Crore range with ease.

4. Pat Cummins 

Australian skipper Pat Cummins would have already set his eyes on the 2024 T20 World Cup. To achieve that dream, the 30-year-old has entered the IPL 2024 auction pool. Pat Cummins has a wealth of talent not only with the ball but also with the bat. His experience captaining a side will also come in handy and teams might fork out a huge sum to land Pat Cummins.

3. Wanindu Hasaranga 

The Sri Lankan has set his base price at INR 1.5 Crores after being released by RCB at the end of last season. During the IPL 2024 Auctions, there is expected to be a huge clamour for the 26-year-old Sri Lankan ace. There is high expectation that Wanindu Hasaranga will breach the INR 10 Crore bracket yet again. 

2. Gerald Coetzee

Gerald Coetzee was South Africa’s best bowler during the ODI World Cup 2023. The 23-year-old is entering his first IPL 2024 auction and his base price is INR 2 Crores. Many teams will be looking at Coetzee to boost their fast bowling resources and it won’t be a surprise if his bidding price enters the INR 10 Crores range.

1. Kartik Tyagi 

There are huge expectations around Kartik Tyagi ahead of the IPL 2024 auctions. After his release from SRH, Kartik Tyagi is widely speculated to be a serious round of intense bidding from most of the teams. Kartik Tyagi could command over INR 10 Crores considering his wealth of talent and ability to bowl at top speeds.
