New Zealand pacer Trent Boult recently played for MI Emirates in the inaugural edition of the International League T20 (ITL20) 2023. Not to forget, he played for the Mumbai side in the Indian T20 League which is owned by the franchise owners of the Emirates. The MI reached the playoffs and lost to the eventual winner of the tournament, the Gulf Giants.

Meanwhile, the Kiwi player said that he has a great experience playing in the brand new league from the UAE. The left-arm pacer added that the standard of the game is exceptional and all the teams are stacked with a lot of talents.

“That's the challenge you want. You come to the tournament not knowing what to expect. The standards of cricket is exceptional. There's been some great performances. The quality is there among all six sides. Teams are stacked with lots of talent,” Boult told Hindustan Times in a chat.

KL Rahul is the most difficult player to bowl to: Trent Boult

During the conversation, Boult was asked about the most difficult batter to bowl to. He started by saying that it is a tricky question as he mentioned that he has bowled to a lot of batters. Meanwhile, Trent said that KL Rahul is one of the most difficult players to bowl to.

“That's a tricky question. There are so many batters. I've always found (Chris) Gayle very hard to bowl to, I've found KL Rahul very hard to bowl to. Polly (Pollard) would be up there as well,” Boult said.

“T20 cricket is one of those games where guys are out there trying to express themselves, take the game on, no fear. Pretty exciting product, really.”
