Updated schedule of the ODI World Cup 2023

With less than two months left at the start of the ODI World Cup 2023, the schedule has been rejigged. One of the first changes made was in the India-Pakistan game. This game was supposed to be played on October 15. However, the Gujarat Police suggested the change to date due to the opening day of the nine-day festival, Navratri falling on Oct 15.

This led to the change. Apart from this, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka game on Oct 12 has been shifted two days before. In Lucknow, Australia vs South Africa game has been preponed from October 13 to October 12. On the other hand, England vs Afghanistan game on October 14 will now be played on the 15th. Also, New Zealand vs Bangladesh's day-night game on the 14th has been changed to a day game on October 13

The doubleheaders between Australia vs Bangladesh and England vs Pakistan will now be played on November 12 instead of 11. The latter has been rescheduled due to Kali Puja on November 11. Last, the last league game between India and Netherlands will be played on November 12 (on the day of Diwali) instead of 11th.
