The 1000th match of the Indian Premier League will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians on Saturday. In the 12th match of the 16th season of IPL, MI will take on CSK at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The epic rivalry between Mumbai and Chennai is called El Clasico of IPL. The Rohit Sharma-led team have won the IPL trophy 5 times, while CSK has won the title 4 times.

Meanwhile, ahead of the match, MI captain and opening batter Rohit was seen hitting the gym as the franchise posted a picture of him working out in the gym. Reacting to it, many fans have appreciated 'Hitman' for finally focusing on his fitness but there were also some fans who trolled him and shared some hilarious tweets under the picture

Who will win this epic clash on Saturday?

CSK lacked quality pace bowling in the powerplay and death overs as they conceded a lot of runs against LSG while defending a monumental total of 217 runs and managed to register a win by just 12 runs. However, they can now use South African fast bowler Sisanda Magala as he has joined the squad after completing his national duties. Magala is expected to be seen playing for CSK at the Wankhede. He can be a better option for CSK than Mitchell Santner.

However, MI have faith in their star players, Rohit, Ishan Kishan, Jofra Archer, and Suryakumar Yadav. These four did not do well in the first match, but MI know that these four are capable of turning the tide of the match. Apart from this, the youth will also have to take responsibility.

Here's how fans reacted:

MI Probable Playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Verma, Tim David, Nehal Wadhera, Arshad Khan, Ritik Shokeen, Piyush Chawla and Jofra Archer

CSK Possible Playing XI: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu/Mitchell Santner, Ben Stokes, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni, Shivam Dube, Deepak Chahar, Sisanda Magala and Rajvardhan Hangergekar
