Virat Kohli may bat at number four, back ups of KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer to be prepared soon for Asia Cup 2023

At this point, Pant is definitely looking set to be ruled out for the tournament. He might make a comeback against England in the five-match Test series next year. On the other hand, the situation around Rahul and Iyer is a 50-50 situation.

Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill might change their batting position
