The second and last Test between West Indies and India will start on July 20 in Trinidad. After a long time, the Asian side will play a Test match at the Queen's Park Oval. In 1976, India chased down a mammoth total of 406 runs after losing only four wickets. That changed West Indies cricket forever as the then skipper Clive Lloyd decided to drop the two spinners in the team and designed a bowling attack comprising four pacers.
More than 50 years later, things have changed drastically. While Indian cricket has gone upwards, Caribbean cricket has down massively. So much so that they failed to directly qualify for the 2019 World Cup and not qualify for the 2023 event. Meanwhile, former India skipper Virat Kohli is meant to play his 500th international game combining all formats.
Ahead of the game, he met the former West Indies skipper Brian Lara. In a video going viral, the Trinidadian met Kohli and other players in the Indian team.

Virat Kohli has surpassed Brian Lara's three records
Ahead of the Test series, the former India skipper met former all-rounder Garfield Sobers.
Earlier this year, Kohli surpassed Lara to become the second-highest run-scorer against Australia in Tests and last year even eclipsed him to become the leading non-Australian run-scorer at The Adelaide Oval. Furthermore, in 2019, Kohli left behind both Lara and Sachin Tendulkar to become the fastest batter to score 20,000 runs in international cricket.
