Gautam Gambhir has always been in the media with his controversial tweets and comments about players. Recently he uploaded a video of former India skipper Kapil Dev. It has been seen in the video that his mouth is bandaged and he has been taken inside an unknown place.

The video has created confusion over whether the person seen in the video is the real World Cup-winning skipper or not. Two men are dragging the former player by his arm. He is looking back, but the men drag him away as he looks in a really helpless state.

Gambhir has expressed concern over this video and re-posted it on Twitter. There has been no confirmation regarding the video that it is true. It will be really disheartening if the news turns out to be true. The former skipper was last seen in Varanasi with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the stone-laying ceremony for the Varanasi Stadium.

Has anyone else received this video clip: Gautam Gambhir

While sharing this video, Gautam Gambhir wrote, "Has anyone else received this video clip? I hope that it is not actually Kapil Dev and Kapil Paaji is fine." The all-rounder is yet to reply to the 41-year-old's tweet. The fans claim it to be advertisements and bash the companies and urge them to stop such activities. Notably, celebrities have done such acts many times before as well. At first, images of them getting into trouble go viral and later it is revealed that the act was a part of the advertisement.

Speaking of Gambhir, former KKR skipper recently said, "Babar Azam has that every quality that he can set this World Cup on fire. I have seen very few players who have a lot of time to bat. I believe that there is Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Joe Root and David Warner but Babar Azam has a different level of quality."

"What makes Babar truly exceptional is his extensive repertoire of batting shots. He’s the only batsman in the world who possesses such a rich array of strokes. Babar Azam has an abundance of batting time, a quality not seen in many contemporary batsmen. His calm and composed demeanour allows him to accumulate runs steadily," Gambhir added.
