Former Australia pacer Glenn McGrath had to take out a python outside his bathroom. It was long and scary for anyone and one of his children was scarred. In the video, the three-time World Cup winner took a broom to tackle the animal. Someone was taping him in the act behind him. After struggling for a bit, the right-arm pacer managed to take out the animal into the bushes.

In his last World Cup in 2007, McGrath made a record of picking 26 wickets. 12 years later, Mitchell Starc broke it with one more wicket but that didn't help the team win the title. Australia lost the semis to eventual champions and arch-rivals, England. Talking about the World Cup 2023, Marnus Labuschagne missed out on the spot. His performance in the last 22 games wasn't satisfactory.
However, in the first ODI against South Africa on September 8, the right-hander proved to be a match-winner. Chasing 223-odd runs, the Aussies lost seven wickets for 113 runs. However, the likes of Labuschagne and Ashton Agar helped the team chase down the target. It will be interesting to see when the final squad comes up on the 28th, Marnus makes it to the trip to India.
