Earlier in the match, India A batted first, and an amazing half-century from captain Yash Dhull helped them to 211-all out in 49.1 overs. After falling to 137/7, Dhull found an effective partner in Manav Suthar, who hit 21 off 24 as the pair added 41 runs for the eighth wicket. Suthar’s run-out ended the partnership before a brief appearance by Rajvardhan Hangargekar (15 off 12). Meanwhile, Dhull, in his innings, scored 66 runs and was the last man to get back to Pavilion.
Nishant Sindhu scripted a hostile victory for India
As Bangladesh A began their pursuit, their openers were aggressive, attacking the Indian spinners. The appearance of Nishant Sindhu, though, completely turned the contest on its head. The youthful left-arm spinner had exceptional control and variation, troubling Bangladeshi hitters with his deft spin.
Sindhu’s wicket-taking prowess shone through as he shredded Bangladesh’s middle order with finesse and elegance. His five-wicket haul for 20 runs sent shockwaves through the opposition’s batting lineup, leaving them reeling. With his amazing performance, India A registered an amazing victory and will now face Pakistan A in the finals of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023.
