A video of Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali getting into a verbal spat with local spectators went viral on social media. He almost went close to starting a brawl before being stopped by a teammate. According to reports, the 28-year-old went to play a match for Arifwala where he was a recipient of some nasty behaviour from the crowd.

The 28-year-old was teased by fans in the crowd, for missing the catch in T20 World Cup 2021, which saw the Men in Green lose the semifinal match against eventual champions Australia. Hasan Ali, who was once a regular player in the team is not a part of the national team in any of the three formats now.

Can Hasan Ali make a comeback?

Ali was a replacement player in the Asia Cup 2022 in UAE but didn’t get an opportunity to play. He was also not picked for the recently concluded 20-20 World  Cup 2022 where Pakistan finished as the runners-up after getting defeated by England in the final. The speedster is not included in the Pakistan Test team that is currently playing a three-match Test series against the Three Lions.

The first match of the series was won by England in the third session on Day 5. The victory will be remembered for a long time as England made a bold move on Day 4 evening when they declared the second innings with four sessions to go with the sheer aim to pick all 10 wickets and force a result. And they did it, in the nick of time in Rawalpindi.

England made full use of the old ball and dismissed many batters in a short interval of time. However, the tenth wicket partnership between Naseem Shah and Mohammad Ali proved to be a bit of a headache for the English side but Jack Leach dismissed the last batter as the new ball did the trick for Leach as it slides on past the edge to hit the pad. Naseem reviewed it but ball-tracking showed the ball that it was crashing into the leg stump.
