India is currently playing against Australia in the fourth Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The match is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Rohit Sharma-led India is currently leading the series by a 2-1 margin after winning the first two games. On the other hand, Australia won the third Test by making an amazing comeback in the series.

After winning the Toss Australia decided to bat first and have been phenomenal throughout the day. They added 255 runs for 4 wickets on the first day. Opener Usman Khwaja smashed a well-made century. He scored 104 runs off 251 balls while allrounder Camron Green scored 49 runs off 64 balls. Both are unbeaten and India went back with a lot of questions.

Meanwhile, a video of skipper Rohit Sharma is going viral on social media. In the video, Rohit can be seen threatening spinner Kuldeep Yadav with a slap. Actually, During the drinks break, the left-arm spin bowler was busy delivering water to the players. Kuldeep dropped a bottle of water while running back to the pavilion. Rohit Sharma, who was standing next to Jadeja, mockingly threatened to slap Kuldeep Yadav.

India PM Modi attended the match

Earlier, in the day Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese. Both Prime Ministers attended the game as countries are celebrating 75 years of togetherness. PM Modi handed a special baggy blue to the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma while Steve Smith received the same from Albanese.

PM Modi met all the Indian players and took part in the National Anthem before the game. Talking about the game, India failed to put pressure on the Aussies. Australian players kept scoring runs as the wicket was quite good for batters. Australia ended the day at 255/4 with the upper hand in the game. India will need to take quick wickets on Day 2 to be in the game.
