Both will be clashing in PSL
Significantly, the Pakistan captain will be seen captaining the PSL team Peshawar Zalmi this season. Babar was a part of Karachi Kings for the last seven seasons. However, Peshawar has added Babar to their squad while trading from Karachi and has also handed over the command of the team to him. On the other hand, after becoming a part of Peshawar, Babar said that it is a great honour for him to join Peshawar Zalmi. “I am very excited to face many challenges with this team,” he said.
Praising Peshawar, the Pakistan captain further said that Peshawar Zalmi is one of the best teams in PSL and the team has performed exceptionally well in the recent past. At the same time, Qalandar’s captain Shaheen Afridi made the team champion with his ball. He won the PSL title in 2022 last year under his captaincy.
