The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) superstar Rinku Singh has been in sensational form this year. He did a miracle in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) by hitting five consecutive sixes off Yash Dayal in the match against Gujarat Titans. On Thursday in the Uttar Pradesh (UP) T20 League, he again did a similar incident this time by hitting hattrick with sixes.

The KKR batter reminded fans of his heroic knock from IPL 2023 hit 3 sixes under pressure to seal a victory for his team in the super over, at Green Park in Kanpur. He has been playing for Meerut Mavericks in the inaugural season of the UP T20 league.

Rinku Singh leads to another heroics 

Batting first, Meerut Mavericks posted 181 for 7 in 20 overs. In reply, Kashi Rudras also scored 181 for 7. Rinku failed to perform during the 20-over-per-side game, scoring just 15 runs off 22 balls. With 17 runs needed in the super over, Rinku Singh smashed three sixes against left-arm spinner Shiva Singh to seal the win for his team in the UP T20 League. He played a dot ball to start the Super Over after Kashi had set a target of 17 runs, the pressure was on Meerut Mavericks but Rinku stayed calm and composed in the middle.

The 25-year-old batter showcased his finishing skills once again as he hit sixes off three different balls from the left-arm spinner. The second ball of the super over was full and wide but Rinku was up to the task, hitting it over the long-off boundary.

The next delivery was a full-toss and the left-handed batter did not hesitate to hit it into the deep mid-wicket stands. With 4 needed off the last 3 deliveries, Shiva went for the wide delivery once again and Rinku deposited it over the cover boundary to seal a thrilling victory.

The south-paw in the IPL has scored 474 runs in 14 matches, with an impressive average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.53. During the run-chases, he scored 305 runs at an average of 152.50 and a strike rate of 174.28.
