India's wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant is recovering from the injuries sustained during a fatal accident he faced in 2022, December. He has been out of action for more than 9 months now, but he has been seen recovering quickly at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bengaluru.
The left-handed batter was previously seen playing a practice match organised by the JSW Foundation. He is yet to reach the physical shape required to start playing competitive cricket, although he has started batting in the nets. Now he shares a video where he was spotted continuing his rehab on a static exercise bike.

Grip. Twist. Paddle. Good vibes only: Rishabh Pant
The Delhi-born wicketkeeper posted another video of himself with the caption, "Grip. Twist. Paddle. Good vibes only." In recent months the 25-year-old batter has shown significant development on his medial collateral ligament, as well as a minor repair on the anterior cruciate ligament.
Team India captain Rohit Sharma has confirmed that while the keeper-batter is making a positive stride towards full fitness, his selection in the Men in Blue side is still a long time away as Pant is far from being fully fit. Pant underwent surgery in Mumbai in February 2023.
On July 21, the Indian Cricket Board published a press release with an interesting update on Pant's progress. Pant has returned to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) to keep in the nets. According to the NCA, Pant is now pain-free and back to his formidable batting practice, handling deliveries topping 140kmph with ease.
The Delhi Capitals skipper is set to miss the forthcoming World Cup, he is likely to return to action at the start of the next year. According to several reports, the wicketkeeper-batsman could make his return to international cricket during the five-match Test series against England next year.
Australia's opener David Warner has also commented on the post shared by Rishabh Pant. He said, in his comment, "This makes me smile and very happy." His fans loved the dedication with which he has continued his hard work for a comeback and made it viral
