Riyan Parag is one of the most hardworking Indian cricketers. The youngster posted a video of his unique exercise in the gym session, which has gone viral on the internet. On his Instagram handle, Parag uploaded a story for the fans in which he was seen performing a Nordic hamstring curl exercise with the help of a couple of people.   

The youngster’s story had the caption, "1 movement 2 workouts". As Parag posted it, the fans started sharing it and were awestruck by the unique way of exercise which was undergone by the Rajasthan Royals cricketer. For his IPL franchise, Parag could not perform well in the 2023 season. But the multi-skilled player made a comeback with a good domestic season.  

Sensational performance in Deodhar Trophy 2023

The young batter from Assam had a stellar Deodhar Trophy as an All-rounder. In the domestic tournament, the middle-order batter scored 354 runs in 5 innings at a batting average of 88.50, at a batting strike rate of 136.67, including 2 hundred and a fifty. With the ball, Parag claimed 11 wickets in 5 innings at a bowling average of 19.09, at an economy of 4.84, including 2 four-wicket hauls.  

Parag gave an interview recently and talked about the hate he receives on social media. The youngster acknowledged the fact that he receives hate and revealed he knows the reasons behind people hating him. “People have a problem with me chewing gum. If my collar is up that’s a problem. I celebrate after taking a catch; that’s a problem,” said Parag in the interview.   

Parag revealed the potential reasons behind people hating him. “They have a problem with me gaming and playing golf in my off time. I have an idea why people hate me. There is a rulebook about how you should play cricket. The T-shirt should be tucked in, the collar should be down, give respect to everyone, don’t sledge anyone, and I am completely the opposite," concluded the 21-year-old and hoped for better performances for his teams.
